My name is Claire Nelson.
My travel career started as a holiday rep. When I decided to slow down a little I became the manager of a travel agents near Milton Keynes. I gave up that job to move town, get married and become a mother - the result of which is now a 3 year old toddler, a handful but centre of my life.
Now my boy is 3 I have more free time to get back into work. I have chosen to become a Personal Travel Advisor. I am an associate of a company called Designer Travel who have the resources of Hayes Travel. We have ATOL and ABTA protection. This allows me to use my skills as an experienced Travel Agent whilst leaving me free to offer a personal service to my customers.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my little boy. Through him I also manage a local Toddler Group in my village.
I obviously enjoy holidays abroad myself but recently my husband has dragged me along camping in the UK. I did manage to get him to buy the biggest tent on any campsite we visit - got to keep my luxuries wherever I am.
